Wake offers free radon test kits


Wake County Environmental Services is encouraging residents to test their homes for radon during January, which is Radon Action Month.

Radon is a naturally occurring, invisible, odorless and tasteless gas that is dispersed in outdoor air, but which can reach harmful levels when trapped in buildings.
