About 100 town residents can now register to have their homes tested at no cost for radon, a deadly radioactive gas that can cause lung cancer, according to public health officials.
"There are certain areas in Greenwich that have these little pockets of questionable elevated levels," said Caroline Calderone Baisley, director of the town's Department of Health. "We want to make sure we get those areas tested and also continue to canvass more areas to get an idea of the extent of the problem here."
