Radon Seminar

Date Published: 01/23/2020 [Source]

Radon is an invisible, odorless gas that is the second leading cause of lung cancer, after tobacco smoke. In Fayette County about 26.9% of the homes tested had elevated levels of radon (over 4.0 pCi/L). On Tuesday, January 28th, the Fayette County Extension Office is having a free Radon program at 6 p.m. at our office in the Fayette Administrative Complex. Don't miss out on this important event where you'll have the opportunity to ask questions to Derek Cooper, UGA Radon Educator, and the option to purchase a radon kit that will test your entire home for $10.
