With house sales down, buyers should be aware that sellers may not be entirely truthful when persuading buyers to purchase their homes. Some common "half-truths" include the extent or history of roof repairs, the presence of pests, what the neighbors are like, whether there is radon, whether permits were pulled for various construction, and others.
