The Marble Institute of America has introduced a national stone safety testing program called the Home Approved Stone program.
Based on testing protocols developed by an independent parties in the scientific community, natural stone products that pass the test will be labeled with a Home Approved Stone logo, clearly showing they have been screened and approved for interior use. The Home Approved Stone logo should begin appearing on products in the coming months.
